The Curious Case of Benjamin Button Review

As I was walking toward the theater I was wondering if it was going to be crowded or not. I didn't think it was, after all it was 9:13 on a Saturday night. Why would there be anyone there? And as soon as I walked in through the door I was astonished at the daunting of number of human cockroaches that where there. Than I thought again, wait a sec, its 9:13 on a Saturday night, no shit there's going to be alot of people here. Every two-bit punk in an abercrombie sweater was there, who was no doubt going to try as hard as he could to get some pussy after the show. And they where all with some woman that looked as if she had been made in a factory who no doubt was going to say yes to his roundabout offer of cock. And they where all there because it was 9:13 on a Saturday night or date night for all the blood sucking 9th and 10th graders... maybe even some 8th graders, those are the worst, the kind that take you to see a goddamn movie at 9:13 on a Saturday night, date rapists. But this isn't about how disgusting most humans are, this is about David Finchers best movie "The Curious Case of Benjamin Button". And this is coming from someone who has seen "Fight Club" more times than what the numbers on his social security equal. It will be a brutal decision between "Slumdog Millionaire" and this. It's about a man who is living his life backwards, he's born an 80 year old man the size of an infant. And precedes to get younger as his life goes on. This is a romance, about to people who are going in different directions and how to cope with that. Benjamin truly lived one hell of a life, from being abandoned than reunited by his father, to being hornswaggled into joining the navy. It's practically a perfect movie, there were some small troubles I had but it definitely is one of the most moving movies of the year. Everything is gorgeous to look at, cinematography couldnt be any better. Everything is so smooth, perfect transitions, and the use of music is quite good, your not going to be hearing Daft Punk in it, eveything fits the time period it takes place in. You'll leave the theater thinking, I can guarantee that. And Fincher definitely pulled out all the stops in terms of special effects this time around. It truly is jaw dropping. This is definitely a movie that needs to be seen, by any movie lover. I wish I could say anyone but there's some people (not so different from the people I first saw when I entered the theater) who don't care about the actual story of the movie, they just want to hurry up and get to the fucking.
